Namespace Structure

Global Handle Architecture

Every public Dock in Intridium can claim a distinctive handle. Handles create universal web addresses and persistent links across web and mobile.

Universal Web URL Formataero.chat/@community_name
Direct Web Preview & Deep Link

When a visitor navigates to your Dock handle link, Intridium automatically serves a fast, lightweight preview displaying your community banner, verified credentials, channel overview, and topic tags before prompting for app authentication.

Licensing Guidelines

Licensing Rules & Responsibilities

Handle licensing balances creator freedom with protection against squatting, impersonation, and trademark infringement.

Namespace Standards

  • •Handles must be 3 to 32 characters in length.
  • •Allowed characters: lowercase letters (a–z), numbers (0–9), and underscores (_).
  • •All handles are globally unique and case-insensitive (e.g., @DevCore and @devcore resolve identically).
  • •Handles cannot start or end with an underscore, nor contain consecutive underscores.

License Rights & Transferability

  • •Claiming a Dock handle grants an exclusive digital license to use that namespace across Intridium.
  • •Organizers can freely transfer handles between Docks they own without loss of channel history or member links.
  • •Handle ownership transfers cleanly upon community ownership handover.
  • •Selling, brokering, or squatting on handles for commercial ransom is strictly prohibited.

Trademark & Brand Protection

  • •Registered trademark holders have priority rights to their established business brand names.
  • •Verified organizations can claim reserved brand namespaces before public availability.
  • •Impersonating an existing company, brand, or public figure results in immediate handle revocation.
  • •Disputes are mediated through the official Trademark Resolution process via Support.

Inactivity & Reclaim Policy

  • •Handles must be actively used: associated with a configured Dock with member participation.
  • •180-Day Notice: Communities with zero message activity for 180 days receive dormancy notices.
  • •365-Day Reclaim: Completely abandoned Docks with zero activity for 1 year have handles returned to the pool.
  • •A 30-day grace period applies when a handle is voluntarily changed, holding it for the original creator.
